4:45 p.m. In celebration of our clergy's gifts and ministry, you are invited to our first Great Plains Annual Conference “Clergy Party.” The Party will be held on Wednesday, June 7 from 4:45-5:45 p.m. in Dapper Rooms I, II, and III at the convention center.
Come and mingle with your clergy friends, meet our candidates for commissioning and ordination, gather with our retirees, enjoy refreshments, win prizes, and simply relax and have fun. It will be a great time of reconnecting and community building with clergy colleagues across our conference. We hope to see you! While the clergy enjoy a time of fellowship, lay members are invited to participate in the laity session, which will include a celebration of ministry and discussion with leaders of the Great Plains Conference.
Leaving a Legacy: Planned Giving that Makes an Impact
5-8 p.m. Join NUMF, KMF, and UMM 100 Club as we kick off the 2023 Annual Conference! We want to extend this special invitation to each and every one of you. Please join us for fellowship and an informative dinner. The Foundations are here to help guide and support you in building the legacy you wish to contribute to others. We will assist in identifying ways to plan for the future and help you decide how to utilize your planned gifts to maximize their impact on others. At no cost to you, we can help in the early stages of planned giving. Also celebrate the accomplishments of the UMM 100 Club! The 100 Club will hold their annual Auction and will sell dinners to raise funds for their scholarship funds.
Party in the Parking Lot with the Great Plains Conference
5-7 p.m. You are invited to join the Congregational Excellence Team in the parking lot of Cabela's adjacent to the conference center. Enjoy music, games and great food from food trucks including 402 BBQ and The Modern Waffle. Their menus are available through QR codes here.
