#BeUMC

with Wanda Jackson and Royya James

Let's celebrate what draws us to The United Methodist Church.

The BeUMC campaign is a grassroots effort, built upon powerful stories of congregations and People of God living their faith, celebrating what draws us to The United Methodist Church and what we aspire to be.

Together, we honor the core values that connect the people of The United Methodist Church and calls us to embrace our Wesleyan heritage and envision a promising future.

The BeUMC Leader Toolkit includes messaging and resources to build awareness and help local churches and annual conferences participate in the campaign.

Help us bring the campaign to life. Visit ResourceUMC.org/BeUMC and greatplainsumc.org/beumc.

Center for Pastoral Effectiveness

with Bill Selby

The Center for Pastoral Effectiveness was created in 1999 to “Maintain Ministers in Ministry.” Through Center retreats, church consultations and seminars, and clergy coaching, clergy and leaders are encouraged to seek more healthy ways to lead as non-anxious leaders especially in anxious times. Utilizing Family Systems Theory, clergy are empowered to understand their own anxiety emotional processes and seek ways to be connected to but not enmeshed in the emotional forces in the church.
