Director of residence life sought at K-State Wesley

K-State Wesley, a United Methodist campus ministry at Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas, is seeking a resident life director (RLD) for the 2018-2019 academic year. The RLD is responsible for overseeing the Christian residential living environment at K-State Wesley. Job duties include administration, programming, policies, communications, services and personnel management.

A bachelor’s degree is preferred, although equivalent experience will be considered.  Residence Life experience is preferred and strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills are required.

The RLD position is a part-time, 11-month position, from July 1, 2018 - May 31, 2019. It is a two-year contract that may be renewed once. Hourly wage of $15, up to 25 hours a week. Live-in housing provided with a single room on the first floor of the residence hall (with students living on second and third floors). Housing includes room, electricity, gas, water, trash, laundry and cable/internet service. Total compensation/benefits package estimated at $26,000.
