The Great Plains Conference is accepting applications for a district administrative assistant. The conference is seeking a candidate that will bring passion, energy and drive in an effort to provide support to the district. This position requires working independently and managing multiple projects with tight deadlines. Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skill with the ability to produce high-quality communications and represent the district and conference in a professional manner are essential. Successful incumbent will possess strong attention to detail, excellent time management and organization skills with the ability to be flexible in meeting position demands/changing priorities.
Key responsibilities: Personal assistant, call, calendar and correspondence management, prepare materials for appointments, meetings, conferences and consultations, maintain database and files, monitor and process district finances, coordinate communications including social media, provide support for district ministries, committees, and events.
Position Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree or technical certificate preferred. Years of experience in an office environment may substitute for educational requirements. Must be tech savvy and advanced in MS Office Suite.
