In response to the very difficult months of adjusting to the losses and changes brought about by the pandemic, it is time for United Methodists to ask, “How is it with your soul?” Journeys of the Soul is a seminar, March 21-22, 2022, (offered online) to explore the impact of losses and new adjustments on the well-being of our souls. The seminar, for retired and active clergy, also provides ways to offer encouragement to one another.
The presenter for the workshop is Dr. Lallene Rector, Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary, (President Emerita and Associate Professor of Psychology of Religion and Pastoral Psychotherapy).
Watch a video interview with Dr. Rector to learn more about her and the workshop sessions.
The morning sessions are 10 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. with discussion 11:15 a.m. to noon. The afternoon sessions are 2 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. with discussion from 3:15 to 4 p.m. After the presentation, you will be assigned to a Breakout Room via Zoom for discussion.
