A fun outing for all men, women and children wanting to help others. If you don't want to come to Norfolk, why not organize this event in your locale ... call us. You can ride, walk or just donate. Missions of the United Methodist Men that will be supported by your donations including: Upper Room Prayer Line, Society of St. Andrew (hunger relief in America), Stop Hunger Now (worldwide hunger relief), Imagine No Malaria (mosquito nets for Africa), disaster response, camping ministry, jail ministry, youth ministry and scholarships for Christian service. Donations should be made payable to “Great Plains United Methodist Men” and sent to Rocky Plettner, registrar, Great Plains UMMen, 4070 E 24th Avenue, Columbus, NE 68601. To register to ride or to walk, contact Rocky or print the registration document attached. • There is no registration cost for walkers. T-shirts are $15 each. • Registration for a biking family is $25 which includes one T-shirt; additional T-shirts are $15 each if desired. • To ensure getting a T-shirt, please register by May 18. • Breakfast and check in is at Norfolk is at 7 a.m. Ride begins at 8 a.m. • Rest stops with snacks will be at Battle Creek and Meadow Grove, with lunch back at Norfolk.
