As part of our Leadership Development Strategy to equip, empower, and develop Christ-formed leaders who will ignite churches in the Great Plains, we’re inviting all clergy to create a learning plan. The plan will help each pastor focus efforts for desired growth with accountability. Though not necessary, we anticipate that the learning plan could provide a conversation starter for you and your SPRC and/or D.S.
To kick us off, we’ve designed an adaptable template along with resources you could use in developing your learning plan. While not everyone is thrilled at prospect of “creating a plan” or even writing down their intended learning goals, we believe all clergy want to grow, first in their own personal discipleship and also in their ability to nurture and guide the faith of those entrusted to them. The “plan” is an opportunity for you to spend time identifying the way God is calling you to grow. The retreat will help you kick this off by:
