Judith Castor, 78, retired deacon in the Great Plains Conference. Born March 15, 1945; died May 18, 2023.
She was ordained as a diaconal minister in the Kansas West Conference in 1978, serving in Christian education positions in Valley Center and Wichita Woodland UMCs before joining Wichita West Heights, where she serve from 1997 until taking leave in 2004 and retirement in 2010.
She is survived by her daughter, Joey (Anthony) Bamberger;. two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, May 29 at Wichita West Heights UMC. Memorials have een established at the church.
