Michael Aspegren, 75; spouse of retired Great Plains Conference pastor. Born February 7, 1948; died May 11, 2023.
He married Dorothy Creason on October 27, 1966. Dorothy Aspegren served as a fulltime local pastor at Shickley UMC from 2005 until her retirement in 2013.
Besides his wife, survivors include children Jon (Merritt) Aspegren, Steve (Kristin) Aspegren, Vicki (Clark) Washburn, Karen (Zeb) Simones and Katie (Chris) Fishler; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren with the ninth due in July; two brothers and a sister.
Memorial services were May 19, 2023, at Harvard First UMC. Memorials are to be directed to the First United Methodist Church of Harvard or Lydia Patterson Institute.
