Laity Summit 2023

Bishop David Wilson

Make plans to join us for this one-stop virtual leadership event for church and community leaders, like Lay Servants, Speakers, Ministers, Leaders, and anyone discerning a call to be in leadership. This year's Laity Summit will be Saturday, March 18, 2023, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. View event schedule.

We will welcome Bishop David Wilson, and hear his challenge to our Laity in the important ministry that each person plays in the life of our congregations.

Rebekah Simon-Peter

Our keynote speaker will be Rebekah Simon-Peter, author of Dream like Jesus and Forging a New Path, Moving the Church Forward in a Post-Pandemic World. During the keynote address, Simon-Peter will inspire and equip us to dare to live out our callings anew. Dream Like Jesus gives us a four-part process to envision the future of our churches and communities. The process is called DARE, which stands for Dream, Align, Realize, and Expand.
