Mission u

A request was made by Mission u that their events be considered an advanced course for lay servant's renewal certifications hours. The following is the response from the Conference Lay Servant Committee:

At our last Great Plains Conference Committee on lay servant ministries meeting on Feb. 25, the committee approved the Mission u class for renewal of LSM certification, but it may only be used once for this purpose. While we believe this program is valuable to the mission of the church, lay servant ministries focus is on developing leadership and discipleship skills in support of the local church.
