You want to send kids to camp, now what?

CHURCH LEADERS:
Before Camp
Step 1 – Choose a week of the summer that will be your church’s week (Just like a VBS week)
Step 2 - Promote the camp sessions offered that week! – Camp Staff can help promote! *Let parents know that your church will have staff there that week to be with their children
Step 3 – Provide scholarships through annual budget and/or fundraisers
During Camp
Step 1 - Organize carpooling and provide transportation from the church - have a fun send off - blessing in the parking lot
Step 2 – send encouraging camper mail and camper email let them know you are praying for them - check with the local site to get the address
After Camp
Step 1 – Celebrate! - give campers the opportunity to share about their experience in front of the church
Step 2 – Be intentional about following up with campers about their faith experience
