Four United Methodist men golfing as the Cedar Chapel United Methodist Church team participated in a charity golf tournament Sept. 20 to raise money for EmberHope, the United Methodist agency formerly known as Youthville.

EmberHope will receive approximately $15,000 raised by the Eighth Annual American Society for Safety Engineers and Mid-Continent Chapter of the Alliance of Hazardous Materials Professionals Charity Golf Tournament.

The Cedar Chapel team, consisting of church members Pat McCarthy and Mike Smith as well as former church pastor Rev. Jim Graves and Steve Hysom, pastor at El Dorado Trinity and Ebenezer UMCs, won the tournament.
