Bishop Saenz leads Lenten devotion on our journey to the cross
2/15/2018

Romans 5:8-9 tells us: “But God shows his love for us, because while we were still sinners Christ died for us. So, now that we have been made righteous by his blood, we can be even more certain that we will be saved from God’s wrath through him.”
Why did Jesus have to die on the cross for our salvation? What was his journey to the cross really like? And how are we crucified and glorified like him through his tremendous act of sacrificial love? We’ll explore those questions and more in this study presented by our bishop, either for your personal use or for use in small groups. During Lent, Bishop Saenz will provide scripture for reflection, prayer and a question or two on which you can meditate, as together we journey toward the cross.
The goal is to deepen your understanding and connection to Christ during this season of redemption and reflection.
