Preparing for Your Future is a unique opportunity to learn about the many benefits affecting your life and ministry. You will be given guidance on all life stages from active ministry to a retirement lifestyle. Caring for one's physical, emotional, spiritual and social wellbeing is essential to maintaining, and even improving, one's quality of life.
The Tuesday morning events are aimed at clergy several years from retirement who wish to learn and prepare for the next stage of life and ministry. The Tuesday afternoon to Wednesday morning events are open to clergy retiring within the next five years and those retiring July 1, 2023. One-on-one consultations will be available throughout the day on Tuesday and until noon on Wednesday.
The event will be held Tuesday, April 25 - Wednesday, April 26, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Salina. Hotel accommodations are provided by the Board of Pensions (room and tax only) at Hampton Inn (401 W. Schilling Rd, Salina, KS) or Comfort Inn (715 W. Schilling Rd, Salina, KS). You do not need to make your own reservations. Breakfast will be provided at the hotels at no cost to you.
