Transition into Ministry program participants must apply to the TiM board for placement in the program, which is done by the Bishop and Cabinet. Review the critieria for TiM pastors, mentor pastors and congregations below:
Potential TiM pastors will apply to the TiM Board before Dec. 21, 2020. Application forms are available on the Application Forms page.
If you apply to TiM, your application will be processed once the following has been received:
A personal interview will be conducted with finalists.
Potential TiM mentor pastors and TiM congregations need to submit completed interest forms to the TiM board before Jan. 15, 2021.
If you indicate your interest to TiM as a congregation, with the agreement of the senior pastor, your completed interest form will be reviewed by your area cabinet and the TiM board and then processed. Interest forms are available for download on the application forms page.
Those congregations selected will establish a team including the senior pastor and a lay committee to engage in education and equipping to become a community of mutual learning. TiM congregations and TiM mentor pastors will receive training prior to the arrival of the TiM associate.
