Dr. Carla Cardoza, the new president of the Lydia Patterson Institute in El Paso, Texas, addresses the annual conference for the first time. LPI is a school that serves children on both sides of the U.S.-Mexican border and is a mission of the South Central Jurisdiction of The United Methodist Church.
