Rev. Dennis Ackerman provides the report for New Church Development and gives out the first award given in memory of the Rev. Nathan Stanton, who died from ALS earlier in 2022. Stanton once served as the coordinator for New Church Development and oversaw church starts in his role as director of Congregational Excellence. The initial honor was awarded to Pastor Ronda Kingwood of Wichita, Kansas.
