The Great Plains Conference ordained eight elders and two deacons, as well as accepted one pastor via transfer from the Korean Methodist Church. It also commissioned eight provisional elders (with a ninth absent due to illness) and two provisional deacons. The conference also recognized nine newly licensed local pastors. Bishop Ruben Saenz Jr. provided a sermon on "Plowing Through the Messy Middle" of ministry.
