District superintendents offer up resolutions for the closure of five churches during the annual conference session:
  • Prairie View UMC in Lincoln (founded 2010)
  • Sylvia UMC in Sylvia, Kansas (founded 1887)
  • Living Water UMC in Kansas City (founded 2009)
  • University UMC in Kansas City (founded 1920)
  • Ebenezer UMC in rural Butler County, Kansas (founded 1889)
