During a civil rights immersion trip to Montgomery, Selma, and Birmingham in Alabama in July 2023, Bishop Dee Williamston of the Louisiana Conference tells the story of a project of remembrance for Dana Adams, a man who was lynched in the late 19th century in Salina, Kansas, provided the impetus for the trip to learn about the civil rights movement.
