This is the premiere episode of a new video magazine for clergy and laity of the Great Plains Conference.
Titled “Harvesting the Great Plains," the new show draws inspiration from Mathew 9:37, which states “The size of the harvest is bigger than you can imagine, but there are few workers.”
Each show will feature an interview with someone who is helping with the harvest so we can make more disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. The goal is to tell stories of people and churches working in their respective mission fields and to provide information and resources vital to the mission of the Great Plains Conference.
This month’s debut webcast includes:
- An interview with Bishop Ruben Saenz Jr., reflecting on his first year as the episcopal leader of the conference and his goals for the future of the conference.
- A change in Federal Communications Commission guidelines and how it likely will affect your church’s sound system.
- A preview of a four-week Bible study about Methodism and our Wesleyan heritage that’s available to all congregations.
