Our eighth episode of "Harvesting the Great Plains" features a different variety of stories and interviews.
Titled “Harvesting the Great Plains," this show draws inspiration from Mathew 9:37, which states “The size of the harvest is bigger than you can imagine, but there are few workers.”
Each show features an interview with someone who is helping with the harvest so we can make more disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. The goal is to tell stories of people and churches working in their respective mission fields and to provide information and resources vital to the mission of the Great Plains Conference.
This month’s webcast includes:
- A video story about The Water's Edge, a church start in west Omaha that moved into its new building in March.
- A video interview with the Rev. Adam Hamilton, lead pastor of Church of the Resurrection in Leawood, Kansas. We talk about his new book, which he wrote to help people conquer their fears.
- An interview with Isabel Bousson, a junior at Lincoln East High School who helped organize the 2018 March for Our Lives demonstration in Lincoln, Nebraska.
