Native American Cultural Immersion trip — Day 3

The group worked during the morning at Skyline Urban Ministry in Oklahoma City. It's a nonprofit started by the Oklahoma Annual Conference in 1968 to address needs in urban settings. Skyline is home to a food pantry, a clothing closet, a ministry that provides low-cost optical exams and corrective lenses, as well as its ever-growing garden, led by a Native person from tribes outside Oklahoma but who uses techniques from his tradition to help the plants under his care thrive.
