Nearly 200 people attended the Nebraska Ecumenical Legislative Briefing Day Feb. 11 at Christ United Methodist Church in Lincoln. The event, celebrating its 42nd year, featured workshops on immigration, human trafficking, LGBTQ concerns, juvenile justice reforms, mental health access, advocacy tips, ecology of farming and the human toll taken by alcohol abuse in White Clay, along the Nebraska-South Dakota border.
