We continue year after year to visit this camp. All skills needed, such as painting, elect., plumbing, cleaning, sewing, gardening, refurbishment, carpentry, etc. Nice rooms for non-RV’ers, AND all meals furnished. RVers have Elec. and water AND there is now a dump site.

Very rustic, isolated, and SCENIC. 7800 ft. altitude. Access for RVs, last 5 miles a little challenging, but very doable. 20amp elec for RVs, so bring adapters. Plenty of facilities for non-Rvers. Private FISHING POND! Estes Park & Rock Mt. Nat. Park 45-60 min away. NEW directors are VERY excited about our decision to come back to their camp to work. We have had wonderful experiences at this church camp and I look forward to another one this year. Note: This will, again, be the first of the two Nebraska camps we are doing this year. There will be a two-week break between these two Nebraska teams. If you wish to take your RV, I am sure there are RV parks in Chadron for you to park. Camp Chippewa, located in the middle of a former Indian reservation, provides a simple outdoor setting where individuals – children, youth and adults—can experience the presence of God through retreats and camping. RV parking with full hook-ups and great non-RV facilities with cooking provisions, etc.
This camp is creating precious childhood memories in the lives of needy children. We are on our own for meals, unless Loren Pontious fixes a meal for the whole campus. RV’s will have electricity and water. A sewer clean-out is available, and fairly convenient. NON-RVers will have sleeping space and a kitchen. Another Return visit to San Marcos. A lot to see and do around the area. Park rigs at the Southside Community Center. Water and electricity (20 amp) AND a sewer dump. A great area for a work team. Non-RVers see Team Leaders for possible arrangements for housing. Ruben says he has adequate work for 3 weeks. *The Cost numbers will hopefully change depending on donations. NOTE: THIS IS A 3-WEEK TEAM. Done this way to avoid driving that distance twice.
